    Best Morning Hunt Ever!

Went out to my duck spot this morning and shot 2 ducks on the river, nothing on the ponds or backwash.
So why is this the best morning hunt ever, well it was because i got to see the 12t digger sitting beside the proposed new pond being built that i get to shoot.
I have been busy already finding maimai materials etc and checking out tree and rush sources for planting.
    Exciting times ahead.!

Lucky bugga, also dont build maimai until you hav seen which way the birds naturally want to come into pond. Hav seen a few fark ups because of rushed building.

Here are a few pics of the pond so far, stepped out its around 160m circumference.

This is what lies below when its been wet.

Time to start looking at plantings and fencing soon.

Shit that's come along quickly mate! Joys of having a digger on the farm eh!!
I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.
