Beautifull breed, which is very intresting. Like all French pointing breeds they have been "improved" with English blood in order to be able to compete with other breeds in field trials. Be it Auvergne , Braque Français type Pyrenées, Bourbonnais, Epagneul breton, Epagneul Français, all got an injection with faster English blood. It makes them more stylish ans supple in movements and probably more intense on the point. This doesn't mean that the qualities aren't good.
