Thread: Brownies

With the gate locked it was a walk in required this morning, another fuckin miss fire & 2 flushed roosters out of gun range within 10 mins of the car. AJ managed to take his first ever brownie before we hit spot X. I took the next brownie then heade up the hill to wea we had heard birds calling with the aim of driving them over Aj who was on the road below, he managed to take 2 more quail before we made the call to start our walk out. Half way out patch locked up just off the road edge & the 4th rooster seen for the morning escaped behind the trees, oh well shit happens but 50 mtrs on and patch was locked up again, this time we both had a clear shot and added a rooster to the bag.

I love hunting brownies over pointers!
Been up north for the week, seem to be good numbers again this year.
