    Caller Lanyards

Like a lot of us I own way more callers than I could ever carry or use at once. I generally carry three around my neck, Normally 1 double reed call for close work, 1 with a bit more punch for distance work and a parrie call (not that many geese that I target around here).

Interested to know what people use to carry their orchestra and how many they carry. Everything from old boot laces to hay bail string. If you bought one what did you like about it?.

What do you look for in a lanyard and what style suits you?

I brought one I liked it as it was cheap and works well, I has a loop with a spring on it do the spring holds the loop tight against the caller, it seems to keep them semi Ridgid to so don't knock against each other to much

paracord and bic click pen springs works for me...getting the knot in right place is the key,so it holds spring under a little tension but not too tight or cant swap out callers when the urge to do so comes along....truth be known if I left all the others at home and just took the old olt66 I would probably be just as well if not better off.

    Here's mine,
Currently has a cupped wing mutt, cupped wing white head (parrie) and a nag (first ever call)
Had it made for me. Got room for 2 more callers would love a single reed and a goose call to complete it.
Won't plug the seller even though he did a great job on mine and very quickly 2 weeks before opening a couple years ago, since then he's taken money of people and vanished of the face of the earth.....pity it's a reslly nice lanyard.

Nice, The two loops per call is interesting. Do they tangle more? I have been told that paracord loops can lock on very tight and become hard to change out a call?

Never been an issue yet, easy enough to change callers.

two loops stops the caller coming apart and you loosing the noise making bit.... if you pull paracord really tight when wet it will dry tighter...its the other way around with hemp rope, remember the bungies on bell tents??

I currently have this set up but just change depending on the hunt I have planned. Currently have a CWC parrie hen and traditional, CWC mutt, CWC cadence, CWC drake whistle and a finisher on a retractable key chain. For opening I’ll probably run that set up minus one parrie call or maybe both. Never get parries where we go and maybe add an extra mallard call
For good measure. Lanyard is a Call’em lanyard. Nz made and love it.
