    Canada Geese

We now have Canada geese in my area ,what was 2 pair on the local river pre-xmas is now 20 fully grown birds.
Having just received my new season license & Canada's don't appear to have a mention any where.I contacted F&G about the possibility of them being included near future.
The answer .......The minister in his wisdom has decided they are no longer a game bird & now no more than a pest that call be hunted with what ever ,when ever .
Doesn't seem quite right to me ,don't know how others feel but would be interesting to hear .

Chris I absolutely agree with you, in my view, these birds are the ultimate gamebird...not only are they stunning to see and shoot but so darn delicious in the oven...!!!!! To see the migration in Canada was such a memorable vision...wow!!

I agree with you. It's not quite right to see such a awesome bird reduced to the status of a magpie.

Be warned, quack is addictive but honk will hook you for life.
