Cheers 2013 season, you've been memorable.


-Shooting my first double rise with the old boy
-Uzbekis' quail dance done on top of a pile of pine slash
-Going for run a run with Toby up the creek, two nice birds in an half an hour. Spaniel Jim does his famous retrieves
-UU and I both simultaneously shooting a cock at the same time, debating who took it, until the autopsy revealed two shot sizes in it
-A run up the river with RCGSP, loosing a nice bird into the swollen river

Thanks to all I shared the hunt with, heres to 2014!

Get a bigger jar for next year!

Have a few memories to share also

-Getting Uzbeki out there doin it
-spending a week shooting ducks & chasing upland with Uzbeki & pointer
-seeing Aj & Uzbeki shoot brown quail for the first time
-even tho he didnt get to shoot anything it was good to take another young fulla out chasing pheasants
-seeing brown quail on the track down to the lighthouse at cape Reinga
-best part of the gamebird season for me now is taking my boy & girl out

The quail at the cape was a highlight too! Howling gale at the lighthouse, birds sheltering just off the track
