fantastic tribute by those who new him.
the nz hunter team did him proud and he was obviously well loved and respected.
im sure he,d be taking the current situation with humour and in his stride.

I totally agree, NZ Hunter did a fantastic show for a man who has done so much for Hunting and Shooting in NZ. I first meet Chris when he worked in Sportsways down the bottom of Queen St Auckland. I bought a new PH 270 of him which was a great rifle back then. Chris was always like the NZ Hunter Program showed, full of laughs and a lot of fun to be around.
Such a shame to hear about his passing RIP "Ziggy"

the episode last year where they split into old n new teams (showed some of it last night) was one of the best waterfowling episodes ever....Ziggy was the ONE.... he made that episode special....last nights tribute had tears in all three sets of eyes in my household...then next minute we were roaring with laughter...all day Ive had picture in mind,Ziggy doing that crazy hand rolling dance in the barrel blind, smile on face all day. R.I.P. old bean.

yup those goose silouettes they borrowed from a guy I knew and they wouldn't stay up in howling winds in water??
tried the same in lake wairarapa with the same amount of success
laughed my arse off at that.

I didn't know Chris personally but this was a heck of a tribute from the team and friends/family. Looked like a heck of a guy to be in a main main with!

Well done NZ Hunter. Very nice tribute.

Had the privilege of shooting with Ziggy a few times.
Very nice man and huge bank of shotgunning and gamebird knowledge.

    RIP Ziggy

A great show to the great man, what a good send off given the lockdown circumstances.
