Hmmmmm-what chinee for " friday arvo do this weld quick finish up go pub for BEERS".weld completely fractured where pivot pin and steel tray bracket join-leaving a very wobbly aluminium clay tray!
the cheapshit tin "spring" for holding the clay on the tray is also rooted ,but with an ounce of luck,I may get away with re cycling a used hacksaw blade to make a clip to secure the clay before launch.
mind you for a GC el cheapo which ive had for nigh on 10yrs she aint done too bad.Thjey were designed to be hammered into the ground oron a wheelrim butbugger me on launch itinevitabley ended up lying on the ground like a dead crad .Iwas given some 1/2x1/2"mild steel tube so iset to and strengthened it right throughout mounting it on a wooden base,
either weighed down ,pinned in softer ground or option of bolting to a wheel rim(4wd tyre is just heavy enough!)
