Thread: Decoy setup ideas and opinions on mai mai

Gday I’ve just built a new mai mai at a spot where I’ve seen a lot of ducks I cleared a hole for a landing zone in the willows
And am now looking out a backwash part of the river so retrieves are easy on my dog I’ve had mixed feed back on the spot what’s people’s thoughts on decoy spreads in the spot and my mai mai placement I’m still learning

What are the ducks doing, ie where are they landing, and where from? That'll give you an idea for decoy placement. If you can mimic what they're doing you're on the right track. As for the maimai have you observed their flight paths etc? Is the river at normal flow?
