    Duck Shooter Wanted

    Evening Team

    is there any one for a loss for a duck shooting spot this season,

    Preferably Based in the south Auckland region and newbies are welcome.

    I have just had one of my guys pull out so if any one is keen flick me a message and we will have a chat as I am looking to go down to the MaiMai on Thursday this week.

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Not sure where you are down there but mine in the same swamp is bone dry. I'm in the Doc land and normally it is one of the last to dry up.

    Couple of years ago helicopters were filling ponds with monsoon buckets at shepherds.

    Yeah we filled a pond up one year from the canal, but in truth it was a waste of time. With the whole swamp dry there were no birds around anyway. Last year I thought I was in for a good year as I had nice water while most of the ponds around me were dry, same problem not enough water around to attract the ducks into the swamp so the fact I had water was irrelavant.

    No From the landing at the first bridge go up the Whanganarino river and I am in the Doc land on the left.

    Bought my Duck licence on Monday, so shot down today and pegged up as going down there during lock down might be a bit tricky. Pond still dry but not rock hard after rain.

    We may well still be in lockdown come the first weekend in May. Fortunately I am on a flight path to the river.
