    So long as you have a safe firing zone , and your not disturbing stock (horses especially) ..would be best to let your neighbours know that it’s you shooting the creek. Take on board their thoughts to a point of curtisty ,

    Pick up your shells , and try to recover any wounded birds ( getting permission from neighbours to enter their property) .

    If iwas you Id be going down and fossicking round the site to see any evidence of previous maimais /shooting etc .then contact neighbours within a 2km radius to sound them out-do they know any shooting activity around there etc etc and importantly whats their attitude to your proposal .based on tghis info then you can make the relvant decsions .all the rules&regs in the world are useless if you simply cant shoot it for reasons mentioned ,as weve seen many times in recent past.
