    Duckshooting ready

Took me all day to sort my duckshooting shit out . Re paint the kayak , chilly bins and ammo box . New strings on deaks and new decoy main lines . In a good headspace now as I'm well prepared , Take it all to pond tomorrow .

I'm almost embarrased to say that I repaint/restring all my decoys every Xmas. The back lawn gets 100 decoys spread all over it, while the sun bakes on the new paint. I have old wool fadges to store the dekes in. My wife thinks I am obsessive - but I prefer to think that if its worth doing, it's worth doing well. Stripped down the old rattler this arvo (the shotty-not the missus), so all good to go.

I think there is some ammo on the back of the ute, I recall seeing it the other day.

Right, that's all my prep work for duckshooting done.

I took Friday off work - long weekend
#1 Got all my decoys down from the loft
    #2 Now all washed,
    #3 Weights checked,
#4 All packed in bags ready to go.
#5 All the motion decoys batteries checked recharged, brought a couple of spares

Today I just have one patch to replace on the Sevylon inflatable and we are good to go.

Just need to replace one patch on the inflatable boat and pack the trailer

Thought they'd banned feeding ducks for a month before the season ? Or did I read the new regulations wrong?

I'll get my licence on Wednesday I think, then I can shoot the 4 ducks on my pond and the parries if they hang round.
