    Duo duck decoy

Impulse brought a Duo duck decoy ( wings rotate and sit up on pole ) . Looked good on box , but once opened lookes cheap shit ? Anyone got one are the any good ? . Thing that gets me is it's not looking water proof at all , that's even rain . Just want any feed back really

I had one of those quivering duck butts to make ripples on the pond. I reckon it turned them off. Just normal floating decoys with some calling worked for me.

We just throw in the odd small stone now if needed.

They all look very budget. Is it a mojo or a baby mojo?

I bought the original Roboduck years ago. Have since burnt the motor out, and replacement here would be around $100. Got one from the States for about $20 + freight. I have rewired it for this year, and bought a motorbike battery, so that I can have a switch in the maimai. Those wary birds later in the season know what rotating wings mean, and IMO can be a real turn-off. I put the thing away after the first week.

Use it on opening, if the ducks don't play ball there's something to blow up before you leave

they are utter crap, the robo ducks are good but way to heavy to be thrown in your regular decoy sack , I have a original wonder duck still goes mint pole or water and runs on a single d battery for 30 hours
