That was a serious culling exercise..................
As I am getting the impression that the buggers are spreading around Jaffasville a lot more in the last two years, it is just as well that there is no closed season on them.

Brilliant UN, looks like great fun too......

Looks like you guys at Redgate had a hell of a time. I was on Isolated Flat and would have been lucky to have seen 80 birds. I suppose thats why they call it hunting and not catching. Nice work.

We were surprised isolated flat done so poorly as a lot of birds came from that way.

awesome and what scenery:thumbsup:

Well done Pete. I knew you would be on the best block;) We got 60 from the Upper Acheron, had to work hard for them though, no sitting on a tarn all day for us
-
yeh after running into Tom and hearing that we did some serious looking. The birds were coming over a low saddle at the end of our block on the side we didn't have permission to hunt on. Probably about 2km from where we were hunting. They then hooked over the saddle between the flat and red gate. Giving the impression they came from Isolated Flat but really we didn't have a chance at them.
Regardless of numbers it was a hell of a fun time and Tom did bloody well organising such a big event.
Beats sitting in town for the weekend.

Good stuff. James phoned the other day fizzing about it
