An eventful day Wasps around the nether region / scrub cutting / 1st trip for the pup

Made use of the long weekend with a trip into the maimai for some maintenance and tag up.
Just a small task of re-cutting the access track into the possie only 400 metres of hard graft gorse, broom & black berry.

Mooched in to tag and do some maintenance on the maimai only to find a wasp nest had taken over all good had a quick look I should be able to sort these guys out with ease. Pup took the water like a fish no prompting in he went strong swimmer.

Murphy's law though Mack my new pup scampered over the bridge and fired up the nest they were onto Mack and then me as he fled past before I knew it I had wasp's up the shorts and stinging around the old fella

shorts and undies were dropped in the tide in Olympic record time.

You've inspired me to go give the maimai a tidy up. Hope the swellings gone down

Bloody wasps. I killed a bunch down at Tarawera last weekend.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
