Brilliant photo, his 'hunting attire' is better than anything in my wardrobe currently.....Ridgeline?
Dog on the right looks like it has no eyes
check out his vest ..ammo pockets!!! now that's smooth.
Way back when there were so many quail in the Nelson region there was a quail canning factory. Quail numbers have taken a big hit in the past 20 years in the area and still going down.
Cool pic Eeebs:thumbsup:
Apparently the Cali was so prolific in the Nelson area that they were exported to England...imagine it!!!! the vest is fantastic...would love to know what his s/s was... the photographer was Frederick N. Jones of Nelson." and the photo was a 'dry plate glass negative'...I do not know what that means:)
Call in at BJ Security office outside NN Pine Industries, Queen St Richmond and pick up a permit form. You will have to cough up the ridiculous sum of $50 but can drive into Golden Downs forest April to September. As they have been milling quite a bit the past few years there are some areas that your Pointers could have a really good run about on. You might even find a few quail but they don't like wet feet so after a week of sunshine is best (ha,ha). You can take the dogs and the gun for a nice walk tho.
