About LinkBacksWarm clear weather arrived in the Northern Waikato for a few days last week so we decided to give the ducks a break and went after some Pheasants
Best mate had purchased a new U/O Beretta just before the season and I've been playing away with a 28ga I bought for my eldest to learn with
Our first hunt we managed to bag a Rooster each making it the first for both these guns

A day or two after that we went out again this time with 2x more friends who have never shot pheasants, the conditions were perfect with squally bursts in between sunshine and we managed to pull off the most spectacular hunt of our lives, ending in a 4 man limit
My GWP was on form, and the shooting was also, doubt we will ever replicate that shoot for the rest of my days

Ripper of a season so far and cant wait for my days off to get back out there! Hot barrels everyone
