She hadnt pegged it so"escorted" off site, but this is gonna make this season very bloody interesting in more ways than one.o yeah as the escorting got underway ,about 200 odd ducks got airborne 3-400m away.its chocka with canadas too.

aint that the truth a bunch of us got stuck in c404s paj out there onceQuote:
'tis just a wicked rumour, honest. Just finished getting most of the mud off and out of the truck. What a job! Have come to the conclusion nearly 3T of truck and that mud ain't a good mix as even the muds turn into slicks pretty quick.
At least I managed to get the old beast going using some of the building materials, then get the other vehicle moving. Still had the hand winch in the boot, along with a few other tricks. Thought for a moment I was in for my second extraction.
at least you didnt find any swan holes gadget:D
Good thing is it was easy to see where we were going. Actually keen to bag some more swans this year too, they're very good eating.
theyre also bloody great at keeping nosey parkers outta the mancave!!my lot are edgey now as they never know whats hangin in there awaitin post mortem!!
Wouldn't work round here, my lot would be in there chewing on it. Oh yeah, you've met TimeRider haven't you?
yep certainly have-a pleasure too,a chip off the old motherboard!
Seen heaps of geese but they didnt want to play with us
Not interested in dekes Z? Been hassled lately maybe?
No ones been hunting them according to farm worker, the 2 spots that we seen 60 birds on during the day , they never returned to in the morning
as z said they didn't seem consistant in their movements, maybe they they just felt like a break or they heard he was back in town.
Think I know where I want to be openning week next year though :)
Z I'll stick my head in the container on wednesday to see if those bits are there for you to use.
Did I mention that Barefoot got shit on when some birds snuck up and flew over us from behind.
They were so low we could have stood up and wacked a few out of the sky with the shotgun butts.
shoulda given em a good slap on the jacksies then nailed em as they turned to sool into you lot!
Ive seen that sort of behaviour out at ellesmere too with 20-30birds coming out on nowhere over us completely silent one time.we were actually in the drink chasing a couple of woundies from an earlier flight.Ive had me &dog intimidated by a mob of 6 who buzzed me as i was having a leak with waders round knees.b..............ds.they sailed out over the lake then zoomed in line abreast directly behind me-again no sound apart from a very disconcerting roar of wing through wings. GSP follower has seen similar behaviours from these mobs and their communal hoochie mates.
My suspicion is maybe this mob has been getting a curryup from someone locally and a re now quite paranoid.hopefully they'llsettle and you'llget em in the dekes &deal. best of luck!
