How do you go about hunting pigeons, are you setting up decoys near a roost, do you call them in some way?

Pigeons are coming to the Deer Farm during Winter when the Deer are fed Grain, decoys and lay down blinds.

I like everything you got there, especially for those pigeons.

Drab clothing is best, while kneeling to dull the face with cupped hands emit a “Coo” “Coo” into the morning air.

It helps to move an elbow, or both occasionally

    Interesting sound related factoid time.

A human calling ducks will echo, but not when calling pigeons.

That is because a coo sticks.

Years ago we used skrunched up sheets of newspaper as decoys, then as we shot pigeons we placed them, propped on clods
