    Hunters first duck shoot

I decided to take my second born Hunter out for his first duck shoot this evening. It was great duck weather with a strong southerly but not ideal for a toddler. None the less we motored down to a little spot I have and found a sheltered spot in the flax.

Bugger me it turned into one cracker evening. The ducks just pitched in beautifully with the wind and before I knew it my limit was done while ducks kept trying to bloody land by us. Hunter was happy as larry chewing away on his choccy biscuits and yoghurt while dad managed to do some straight shooting. My dog Sako is in pup and out of action so thankfully I had my mates dog Ninja (puppy father) who made good work of not letting any get lost.

Pretty damn chuffed to be honest. I was just happy to spend the evening with my buddy let alone a result like this.
