    I want to quack

Basically I'm after a parrie and mallard caller for opening day,any suggestions?

I'd like to get wooden callers as I firmly believe they make a more natural sound but I ideally want 2 for 100 being a tight arse.....

If your up my way Flick me a message and meet up for a drink.... My shout

    Hey Mate,
Given the budget, buy one decent call and then save for the other. My advise would be to buy a mallard call like a Hammond RIP mallard or DJ66. This will blow the budget as they are expensive (Hammond $100) but you can then pick up a cheap parry call. Parries are known for not being to fussy about decoys and calling.

I would do what keen fella suggested and get the RIP mallard. That will see you through opening and then later on pick up a Hammond parrie caller.

RRAH, I bought a plastic fantastic (I know, I know) from a local store, a Buck Gardner Double Nasty duck call...without too much imagination you could imitate the Paradise with it. No use me as a complete greenhorn at this sport buying a really good one.

You'll be amazed how well some people can blow those, I cant but a fella in the gunstore in Queenstown can use it real well. (He is american tho!)

I personally rate my new Hammond Arkansas caller, can't wait to try out the Cajun.
