When i was a kid (5 and up) I used to carry a mouthfull of lead airrifle pellets in my mouth as it was too hard to get them out of the small front pocket on my stubbies:D
probalbly swallowd a heap and used to chew some up into a ball so they didnt go to well to stun birds and young rabbits so I could raise them as pets.
what are the symptoms of lead poisoning ?

I do not have a clue as to whether lead is anymore harmful than anything else we blast over water. Everything in life now days is fucking harmful in one way or another. It must be a West Coast thing Philipo. I know or have known far to many people to get or pass on from bowel cancer on NZ's West Coast. It is friggin scary stuff. I am sick of hearing about people I know coming down with the friggin gut rust. I am not sure on the figures or if its just how many times it comes up in conversation but it seems way to high on the Coast.
