    Mai mais 2021

We’re a bit late I know but it’s been a hectic last month, we don’t shoot this pegged stand opening anyway and to be honest the pond is desperate for rain.
Fun family day out building something comfortable on the peg I’ve had for 4 years 16 pallets used costing between 0 - $5, just roof to go on and more camo.

We ( me and the 8yro ) shoot this possi all season except opening and only get 0-4 birds each time but 10 mins from home nice to have somewhere to go and a affinity with a place

Please post any Mai Mai do ups or brags . On this thread if you like.

you have got me thinking...plenty of pallets about the show.the ONLY reason we havent made something permanent is the dirty boaties would crap in it all summer long. the joys of public lake.

@Sparrow if it turns out to be a good spot! I would plant some flax and honeysuckle around the front and corners.
Will save you on having to cut fresh stuff every year and also look more natural.
Ill stick up a post of our old farm one.
In the end we did not have to cut anything for it but had to cut back which was nice.

Looks like fun, used to love the building Mai Mais.

Yep @Sideshow Flax and rushes are the plan for sure, cleared a heap of gorse from the immediate area and those 2 broom bushes were the only thing left for some temporary cover.
