    Molesworth in march

    Im seriously thinking of doing a trip down south to the march Molesworth shoot, who else is keen for a trip away

    not sure, depends on whether im flying or driving down, but my male cocker can retrieve geese

    If youre flying it would sure be wise to team up with a few to pay gas and ferry crossing or take out a mortgage to do the trip !!!! LOL\
    How hard is it or costly is it to fly with a dog in NZ ??

    I've been shooting the Rainbow, Molesworth, St James area for 20 yrs for geese and animals
    Was in there last week
    You wont see anyone with a rifle where birds are shot in March or any other time of the year except certain areas of St James and they shoot like shit anyway.
    Leave the dog at home, there is only a couple of spots that warrant one, and then you have a boat in the party anyway

    that cocker does a fair bit of flying when retrieving geese.

    On a serious note I'm effing keen to get down there. Shoota, you can bring your dog too as it makes carrying geese so much lighter when theres only some wings, legs and a head to carry.

    They can go as checked luggage. Need a crate. cost about $30. Well this was the case a few years back.
