    I've often been tempted to shoot quail but never have, they amuse me too much. Plovers on the other hand....

    Used to have alot of quail around the farm but sadly dont see many anymore, cool little gamebird.

    My old man breeds Kellys. he is very good at it, to the point it has become not much of a challenge, and he is starting to breed Australian brown quail instead.

    Plovers,couldv done with a shot gun the other day,must have been 200 plovers parked up in a very dry paddock of clover trying to grow.
