    Opening Day 2012

    Had a good morning with two of us getting our limits by mid morning.



    Our temporary mai-mai on the river.



    Some Teal that dropped in and made good live decoys.

    Excellent Mike.
    We have no photos but Wildnman and I had a count up when we got back to my place this afternoon and we had 42 in the bin. A far cry from the limit of 50 each up here but more than enough to deal with tomorrow.

    I couldn't hit the side of barn door early on... when the place was crawling with ducks* :. Mallards where few and far between though. Action died off later, but we still got a few, despite what the video shows.



    The shooter will get his revenge with my misses caught on camera too.*

    Had a pretty good couple of days, shot some ducks, missed some ducks but best of all my dog ( after some health probs this year ) went bloody well, so a great weekend

    Had a shit opening ,5 pukekos Sat and 2 dux ,4 roosters 1 swan for the Sunday. But yes killed the time with the Dundee robo decoys for entertainment.

    I'd better not show my brother this - he would get excited, attatch hooks to all of our decoys, eels would take the bait and the decoys would take off to the other end of the lake!

    Had an alright opening weekend (not quite as good as last year). But, between four shooters we managed 35ish Paradise, 11 Mallards, 12 Black Swan and 3 Canadian Geese.

    Me and my brother also managed six mallards last night - shoot most nights of the week and usually pull in a few

    Will get some photos up later on today/tonight.
