I call bullshit. You're in the Manawatu. It's never sunny there

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Yip, could be the worst combination as far as opening is concerned. Birds dispersed onto new wet areas while hunters look up at empty skies. Not so bad if you hunt regular over the season though.

Need the lake level to rise, the maimais were a long way from water on Sunday.

That's what I'm hoping for, but with that massive surface area it will take a fair volume to increase the depth.

I'm in the same boat, waters edge was about 100m from the maimai on Saturday, only has to come up a little bit though. I figure the birds will still do a fly by if I put the dekes on the mud, probably won't land though. Fingers crossed.
