All of you duck shooters are in the back straight now. The start/finish line is in sight.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Ponds are chocka with ducks, (ours have stayed full of water over the whole summer, good springs feeding them), Manuka is in place, guns have been stripped and cleaned, decoys are ready to go, forecast shows showers...All set then! Its a big family day for my lot. Just gotta talk mum into making a bacon and egg pie.

Going to be a loooooong week.

Absolutely mate, its always a big competetion between my brother and father about who's the best shot.

BTW I think Daffy is having a party at our place with a few hundred if his mates, it gets bloody noisy at the farm in the evenings with all the quacking ATM...little do they know...

Yep - My son and I have a ball all week. On holiday, slinging shit at each other. Trouble is, he outshoots me these days, and is not shy to let me know. Payback is a bitch!
