    Pegging day 2015

Prospects looking excellent best ever I must say I put probably 300 ducks off this piece water and we have 6 bird bag

As they say location location and most importantly a prime food source

Maimai tagged, 15 minutes work with the loppers, 1/2 hour of building work alterations to the maimai and we are looking good for the season. Planted a few more flax I had growing at home. No weed for the first time couldn't really figure that one out but I'll take it

Looking good. Seeing all those birds should make sleep for the rest of the month come a little easier....

We were a little the other way. Fewest number of birds I've seen in our area. Not a lot of water yet. Still a bit of time for things to change...

This was probably why you couldn't hit any ducks

went up and fed the marginal pond plenty of birds using it.
roost pond had so many ducks i almost came in my pants.geese flying around to and the water levels come up nicely so they can spread out to both ends now.please huwie no real heavy sustained rain till after opening dont want a repeat of last year when it lured them out to the sodden paddocks where they stayed

H'mm looks familiar, shot there for years and yes sometimes the numbers are good and some years not so.

GSPF-under no circumstances come in your pants-the bloody water is fouled enough already from the short ponderous ones traipsing through it in his trashy crocs.
PS do ducks get athletes foot ????
