    Probably one of the ones that were blown over here last year from Oz.

    So can't see that they will be protected, but a pity it has been killed.
    Would be cool it they bred and we had a population of them, can just picture them hanging out in the Gulf Harbour Marina shitting on the boats

    Okay just read the shooting article properly and it says it is protected but I've never seen any legislation even mention pelicans before.
