    In a pickle

    Hey team,

I'm in abit of a pickle, my shooting spot I had lined up this season for my son and I, I've just been told it's a no go now.
So I'm on the hunt for a new spot. I'm more gutted for him as he's only 4, and keen as to tag along and get some ducks.
I know it's a long shot, but one can only try.
Is there any farmers in the rotorua/waikete/reporoa area that have a creek/stream/drains that we could walk to try and get some ducks.
I've been door knocking, but haven't had much luck.
Worth a try on the forum. It's going to be a short season for me. As I've got a baby due mid season, I know I stuffed the timing on thay one. I just want to get him out, before duty calls.

    Thanks bevan

@Woody do you know of anywhere that this member can take his boy for a poke at a duck or two?
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

My suggestion would be to contact F&G rotorua. iirc they have some mai mais reserved for such young shooters.
Personally I am unable to offer a safe place, my usyal spit has pretty well dried up to quicksand and quite dangerous now. F&G best bet I think.
