    @dannyb did you get all this sorted out, did you get a permit etc, and did they say you can only shoot them in flight?
    GUN CONTROL IS A TIGHT 5-SHOT GROUP.

    I have been away hunting in Southland for the last week, it's on my to do list this week
    Only got home last night

    Be careful what you tell them in regards to why they are a nuisance. When I asked as they were getting into the vege garden & apples trees, that was good. I also mentioned them killing the ducklings but was told that is not reason enough.

    Don't quote me, but I think on the permit they dont have to stick with the gamebird regulations and can allow pretty much anything.

    They are bastard thing in abundance at the moment, mate planted maybe 100 plus natives, flaxes and other plants on a patch on the farm. Withen a week an a bit the pu-keke had plucked the most of them out lol, cost him a fortune.
    Cursed be the ground for our sake. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for us. For out of the ground we were taken, for the dust we are... and to the dust we shall return.

    F & G - gave me one for swans no problem - permit to disturb but allows you to harvest a few (conditions like offer to local iwi) - done over phone and emailed - renewed by phone too
