Thread: Raupo taking over the Dam

I had trouble a few years back with duck weed , the pond was completely chocka I sprayed it but whilst doing a little research on sprays & pond building came across some really helpful tips , with duck weed usually nitrate build up makes it grow but if the pond is getting to shallow & the water is constantly warm it explodes , likely its the same with most weeds if you dig the pond out make the middle area 3 meters deep so the water keeps cooler , at 3 meters its probably to deep for the raupo to grow
