Thread: Shooting Pigeons

I am bloody keen to get onto some pidgies if you boys want another gun. Can swap a hunt for some ducks or geese.

Went out Saturday morning and got our arse kicked they where shy as , don't know why?. In the past it was easy. My only thoughts are the dairy farms don't have any hedges anymore and blinds stick out like dogs balls? . M-A until I master them again you would be better sticking to ducks and geese

No worries, nothing is guaranteed in hunting. There are heaps (although not thousands) living in the hedges around rolleston. I did find a good field at the beginning of the duck season but it was only a block away from town so I wasn't comfortable shooting it. Also heaps around ellesmere.
