+1 on RNT, Echo are also awesome, they will both ship from USA, but not cheap. The custom single reed calls have more range and can have way more volume (open water calls) than the cheap double reed stuff but they are harder to control/blow. Some single reeds can stick at times too, the mylar reed sticks to the tone board if you blow too much spit it them. You also have to periodically change the cork that holds the reed in place as they can shrink after multiple wet dry cycles.
The acrylic calls do not swell and change tone vs wood calls, there are never any issues pulling them apart to clean if they stick. vs wooden calls which can seize through swelling.
Some custom call makers sell a cheaper version of their acrylic or wood custom calls. The cheaper versions are made out of moulded polycarbonate as opposed to lathe or cnc turned wood or acylic . The Echo poly calls would be a good way to try a top end single reed cheaply https://echocalls.com/product-catego...te-duck-calls/
