    southland duck opening weekend

    i got a couple but that was nothing compared to the kids getting their first!

    jamie got a double with the little .410

    addy picked off a loaner.

    they have their recipes allready so now we will see how well they can cook!

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

    Well done Greg showed the photo to my young daughter (7) , she's harping on she's ready to shoot a duck . How old your girls ?

    12, 11 and the boy is 7.
    he needs a bit more help to hold the double barrels up. so i think a single shot would be more appropriate for a 7yo.
