    Swimming Ducks

    Anyone have any advice with the clip on decoy motors?
    Reliable and handy or not at all..?

    tried them -fiddly ,prone to breakdown ...

    if and ONLY if you have weed free area and expect zero wind..the ycan give a little movement...put multiple swivels on the anchor line,a short section of chain directly off decoy isnt silly the decoy can swim around in circles at length of the anchor line then...any wind renders then redundant as move pretty slowly.

    Make a jerk rig. They are super effective and cheap to make

    make a dipper..really old school and still by far the easiest to make,set up and use...on dead calm water you have SOME chance to create lots of ripples,Ive had a hen mallard literally stalled in mid air 10 yards above decoy trying to work out WHF was going on..and we still missed her,laughing too much.
