Shot into the possie this afternoon to get the necessary tagging done Plenty of birds around and the quality of the water was A+ My planting has taken over now with surplus natural cover
Dog & I got wasp stings for our troubles poor lab couldn't work out what was going on so I will be back in at Easter to deal too those varmints

Was lucky enough to win a free licence in the draw for banded birds and my licence and tag arrived in the mail yesterday. Thanks ERFG. Will tag my peg maybe tomorrow.

Be heading out on Sunday morning to do mine,be interesting to see what condition the maimai is in this year,was planning a rebuild but getting short on time ,might be a quick patch up job instead.

We just need to prey for rain down this end as pond is wet mud atm

H&F have a plastic box,will do for ammo or your lunch but really is just a glorified kids lunchbox with handle...about twice size of shoe box.

tagged last weekend,plenty of birds but buggerall water...may end up being mudrats again.
