Wallyess of the Week...or Weekend I should say...

Big brother over from Orstralya for a couple of weeks so I decided to buy a box of clays for us to have a bit of blast and then on to the river for a hopeful bird...I know some guys on here have left their rifle bolts at home but I left the barrels of the Yildiz in the lockup...I did appease myself somewhat by taking a bacon and egg pie for lunch...

Always take lots and lots of stuff, that way hopfully you remember the important bits and forget a less important bit like a fork or garlic salt

Works for me I forget something everyday!

Problem with this idea is you end up with a truck full of crap and you have to dig trough it all to find something!

That depends on how much you forget!

How did you manage that? Do you store them separately?

@Pointer, not sure really ...no do not store the pieces separately... proof that you do need the barrels to drop things cos the little Turk flattened a rabbit just a few minutes again

    HA! Outstanding!

I left the magazine for the .222 behind one day and, as fate would have it, saw more goats that day than was normal. Jeeeeezuz I was pissed off. A mate and I got dropped off by helicopter on top a hill with the idea that we'd shoot our way back to the ute... a full days' walk. Naturally it took far too many years to live that one down. Damn! But I think that leaving the barrels behind is one step further down the ladder of stupidity that I'm pleased to say I will never lower myself to - probably only because I don't own such a gun.
