    Wanted to borrow LayDown Blind

Hi there , is a long shot but thought id ask .....

I have the opportunity to shoot on my mates farm for this years duck season ... and he has asked if I can get a hold of a laydown blind to use.
I dont have to funds to just go out and purchase one ..so I was wondering if anybody in the CHCH region may have an old one lying around being unused ? that I could possibly borrow please ?
Im hoping I will enjoy using one and possibly save to purchase one for next years season ..

    Cheers

There will be plans/instructions/how to's all over the net

Some wire, timber and a grassland camo blanket would sort it I'd say

rabbit netting can be used as a cheap option just flip the whole thing to the side, you just need something to lie on and support your head

How many did you get? I would normally put all the deeks in front of the blind to try and get them to come in in front. Wing spinner is very helpful with parries.

Duck hunting is hard. It's also addictive. It looks easy when you read about it in rod and rifle but people only talk about the successes.

Happy to give you some tips if you want to give me a bell sometime but as you say I think I would start earlier, put all the deeks in front of the blinds and if you can find a wing spinner use that. I do have an old one you could have but it would need a 6v battery.

A mate is selling a whole bunch of hammond calls if you are super keen. It includes a hammond parrie call which is the parrie call to have.
