Thread: Wet morning in Canterbury

Over the last couple of seasons the farmers son where I shoot has expressed an interest in hunting.Coming from a supportive but non hunting family his opportunities have been limited. We have now gone through the process and he has just gotten his FAL.

I took him out for a shoot this morning. We tossed it in at 11:30 am. Rain , Rain and more Rain!! The shooting by us both was pretty average to say the least. But we managed 18 mallards and pulled off a few good shots with some good calling.

All in all a good morning
