I didn't know there were Partridges in NZ, which is why I back pedalled.

What makes you think I would have said it was a bird?

It'll taste pretty good. When are you going to eat it?
10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.

I was armed only with my mountain bike so it was pretty safe.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

A mountain bike is plenty big enough to through at it.

What a fabulous bird - just given me an idea - I want something different - looks like there are breeders out there
I once thought about buying some pheasant and quail to boost low numbers on our place - but I killed the predators instead - the birds responded by themselves - saw nine pheasant going up the drive in the car yesterday - must piss them off when we turn up and disturb them
Some different birds like Red Legged Partridge or Chukor would be great to see round the district
I wonder how they would survive alongside pheasant
