Thread: When to Feed out?

Pond the last few seasons has had more ducks coming in the evening rather then morning.

Haven't really put much thought into time of day when we put off ducks, and feed maize out. Usually every 5 days or so, more closer to opening.

What is the optimal time to feed out to have a better morning shoot?

Without an electronic feeder or feeding smaller amounts daily you can’t really change the birds habits if you’re just dropping a ton of grain once a week

If we don't feed on big lake we don't get any evening flight at all. Auto feeder is out of budget so we feed when we can and hope for the best.
