    When to set out decoys

    Hi I'm relatively new to duck shooting. But a mate of mine has a lifestyle block with some existing ponds.
    Whens the best time to set out decoys? Would it be the morning of a hunt or set them out the night before? Or earlier. Its private land so im not too worried about them getting pinched
