who else is trying to refrain from new toys for the upcoming season?

I'm off to America for 5 weeks (leaving on teh wifes bday) so trying to convince myself that this may not be the best season for a new shotgun as it may just be one fight too many we all know what its like though and new seasons demand new toys so this is a thread for us to get excited about all the new fun bits and bobs that are going to get us massive hauls of ducks in the upcoming weeks

Nothing new for me (except some fibre wad ammo for the pheasants) as I am going to Aussie for a holiday...brother is talking about taking me somewhere to try our luck on the Sambar...well, his actually...when I read the protocols for an international visitors permit to hunt I just yelled...so I will be tagging along with the camera...he said the permit for an interstate hunter (we hunt in Victoria, he from SA) is bad enough

Not refraining at all, brought a miroku of a gun club member. I have shot really well with it the last few months as opposed to my old AYA, so its money well spent.

Yes, full bodies do it for me too ! and the floaters are real lifelike. Just ordered another blind from Cabelas, must go back and look at deeks, . . . and an ammo belt. . . decoy bag. . . grassing kit. . . . caller. . .it just never ends !!!

Exactly. Unless shes got the keys to your gun cabinet or knows the difference between a mallard floater and a full body then none the wiser. It's getting it into the garage without being noticed thats the key!

Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out
