Thats the only thing on my y banger I dont like.

Not so much its alloy but that its cast not machined so it looks rough and cheap

well done yildizes seem to have a good name for the dough.
its surprising how good the turkish/circassian walnut is on bits of enginering that dont deserve it sometimes.
despite them making some shockers in the semi pump line some of the turk co,s make some lovely u/o and sxs,s

years ago i had the opportunity to acquire the gun of my dreams, an AYA no.2. as there was a sporting shoot on the next weekend,i took it out and shot with it.after a mediocre performance and 100 plus rounds,my check was getting red and sore. rather than a great rush that came with anticipation i was underwhelmed to say the least with my purchase. stubbornness is a family trait, and i happened to know a very good shotgun gunsmith.after a discussion we fitted a kick-ez pad which also lengthened the LOP. 5mm.a check of the serial number revealed the gun was made in 1965, and this was a time when plastic wads first came onto the market, and the forcing cones (the area immediately in front of the chambers) had only been designed for paper/fibre wads. the upshot was we lengthened the forcing cones,effectively making them invisible. the upshot being that gun is a pleasure to shoot,no more twisting under fire.no noticeable recoil. having said that i leave any big loads for the semi-auto.long live the doubles, over and under or side by side.if i am out just with the dog,a hammer sub gauge side by side takes some beating for sheer exhilaration and satisfaction.

It took me a while to get use to my Y-Banger but after some practice it sleeps on my shoulder now. Its light like a feather, get the chokes and ammo right and you'll be lethal.
