    Are you seeing many shovellers out there this year...

    I was given a brace of shovellers last year they are beautiful eating; much prefer them to mallard.

    Out of curiosity I am just wondering if their population this year is down.

    Out of curiosity I am just wondering if their population this year is down.
    strangly enough they seem to be here in reasonable numbers earlier than last year??
