    Hey guys

A good mate of mine and his old man are looking to upgrade there Boat, Currently they have a Mclay 565 i think it is but they looking to up there game and get further out.

    on the list is

    they not looking at stabicraft

Figured with all the boat people on here you might have some input plus

All 3 seems to be about the same 1 year wait list, they looking at 200hp motor if that makes any difference

Makes no difference to me what way they go, i got the tow wagon.

    Cheers

Mate has the Maclay, go out to Ruapuke and Stewart Island on it, been in some pretty heavy seas and she always feels safe. Good ship

Think they just trying to slim it down, a lot of boats out there they all look the same to me.

Have a look at Bluewater Boats in Henderson, mostly custom builds. Most work they do is built to survey, and mostly commercial but they do builds for your typical fisho.
I had the 7.2M version for ~10 years - best sea boat I've ever been in.

If I was younger, I’d buy an AMF. Built like a tank! If I were to quit my current Stabi that I’ve had since 2006, I’d probably go Profile. My mates one was far more comfy in the chop than my boat.

profile is just an expensive senator the owners both started senator before one or both threw their toys and compete now

mclay is a monohull rather than pontoon so im far less interested in them

senator for sure from the three you have chosen

Either the Senator or the Profile you won't go wrong I pretty sure profile was started buy a guy that worked for senator and went out on his own and then Firmans came along.
I had a senator 620HT awesome boat heaps of room. It travels way better than the Mclay which ride very hard, I had a 150 E TEC on mine which was plenty.

But heavy and hard riding or at least the ones I have been in are and there are better pontoon style boats IMHO and I have been in a few.
Extreme make a nice hull but not pontoon style.
