Cheers. Remember the good old days when people could argue politics and not hate each other.
No one owns the water.
No one owns the land.
No one owns the oceans.
No one owns the sands.
These are given by our Mother.
The planet provides for free.
Only by the hands of the greedy, does the Earth require a fee.
I think you only own to a certain depth
may be sarcastic may be a bad joke
Think what you like.
I still own it.
Which Cham was saying I don't.
Overkill is still dead.
Those pieces of paper are interesting, the Crown still has rights to void your claim and the piece of paper basically exists at his majesties' pleasure anyway... I'd love to lock stock and barrel have exclusive rights over my piece of dirt but the council keeps sticking their nose in too. Very annoying them people.
We have a “bundle of rights” to our land granted via title issued by the crown. We don’t have 100% of the rights as the crown retain a whole bunch via legislation i.e. the RMA etc.
That’s what I got taught back in the day training to become a registered valuer. 40 years ago gulp!
Which sort of backs up my statement.
If I didn't own it I wouldn't be charged rates.
And they wouldn't be able to confiscate a portion of it to pay the outstanding amount.
I didn't state I had complete rights. I stated I had a piece of paper that states I own it and the minerals.
Overkill is still dead.
