About LinkBacksThe fishery down there has changed a lot recently. The salmon farm in the Ohau canal has closed down and been taken to Ohau C and a local told me that with the change of ownership of the farm at the main road there were no longer a proportion of fingerlings released directly into the lake (so no wild population). My last time there was the first time I haven't caught a salmon. On all my previous trips I have always caught more salmon than trout.
